Learning to Abandon the Things of the World!

Abandon is a service dedicated to middle and high school students with the mission to see students “Abandon the World and Follow Jesus.” More than just a weekly service, it’s a time where student can find belonging, ask honest questions, build genuine friendships, and grow in faith together. Abandon encourages students to let go of worldly desires and distractions and fully lean into a life wholeheartedly devoted to God—to become a disciple of Jesus… and then guide other students into becoming disciples alongside them! God calls students in our community, and in every community, to greater things beyond what the world could fathom. Through worship, preaching, and community, we desire to see a generation of students in Etowah step forward with bold faith—to follow Jesus without reservation—in order to see the Great Commission fulfilled. It all starts here in a town similar to Galilee, the town where the disciples were from.

Middle School and High School Students: See you at the Mountain View School library at 6:00 pm every Sunday night!
